Sid: My guest is Sarah O’Meara and she’s one of the wonderful testimonies in the book “Miracles Still Happen.” I’m speaking to her at Aspen, Colorado. And she went to a Kathryn Kuhlman service. Why? She was in the hospital dying? Why? Cancer had riddled her entire body. And she saw a commercial and she knew nothing about healing, nothing about Kathryn Kuhlman but something caused her to want to go there. But the doctor said “No.” They had been operating on her trying to do something about the cancer. And she had an operation that went from her ear lopes to her kneecaps and she could not get in she’s bleeding, she’s walking in her own blood. Finally a friend sees her and gives up their seats, they go and the seats are up on the top in the balcony and she gets up in the balcony. And then she is washed out totally and she sits down and all of a sudden, this had never happened to her before, her spirit leaves her body. And she can… could you see your body Sara?
Sara: Yes, I could.
Sid: What happened next?
Sara: As soon as Kathryn Kuhlman came out and I don’t know how long she’s been talking I realized that she was speaking and it seemed like my spirit came back or whatever in my body. And as it did there was a pink cloud that was like the consistency of cotton candy that floated from the left hand side of the Shrine Auditorium and completely engulfed me. And I could see that this pink cloud was all around me and that of course had never happened before and never has since. As this was happening Katherine said in the middle of her service “I must stop there is a magnificent healing going on up in the balcony of a young girl whose body was riddled with cancer.” You know how dramatic she was. And so I remember hearing that and having never been to a service before and what happened I said to God I said “Oh, could that be… could I be the one that she’s talking about?” And then all of a sudden it was like I had a hold of a an electrical current of some kind. My body shock and it was like a thousand needles going through my body and at the same time unbeknownst to me the entire row had been knocked down by the Spirit, and the Holy Spirit going through my body.
Sid: Now that’s normal Bible believing power. I pray in Yeshua’s Name that not only does that power return but I pray that everyone listening to us starts to becoming a demonstrator of the power of God. Go ahead but someone they just got healed their neck. So someone’s neck has just been healed if you move your head you’ll see the pain is gone. And another person’s back and spine has just been healed.
Sara: And also someone’s foot, someone’s left ankle. So then what happened as the pink cloud and the electricity went through my body. Kathryn said “I am sorry to interrupt but I cannot grieve the Holy Spirit,” she said that “This magnificent healing going on up in the balcony the young girl will know it because it’s like a 1000 needles going through her body at this moment.”
Sid: That’s you.
Sara: And that’s who it was and so I knew that at that point that was God healing me. And then she went on to say “The girl is sitting on the last balcony in the first row in a red dress.” Well I had on predominantly a red dress it was red, white and blue but it was predominantly red. And she said “God has healed you for a magnificent purpose and accept that healing and know that the glory of God is all over you.” Well the usher saw all the commotion because all the row had been knocked down and I was shaking from the power. And they said “Aren’t you the one that was healed?” And I said “I think so.” And the usher said “Well go down and give your testimony” and I was not very provocative at all and didn’t like to go and make a spectacle out of myself and so I said “Oh, I don’t know if about that.” And as I said that there was an audible voice that said to me “You mean I would do this for you and you would deny me?” Well it shocked me so that I jumped out of where I was sitting out of my chair and as I did it was like an anointing of oil from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet. And I realized that my energy had come back, the bleeding had stopped and I felt absolutely perfect. As I walked down the stairs of the auditorium to get to the bottom floor up to the stage I realized that I was just gliding that every bit of energy had come back in my body and I felt renewed and refreshed and fabulous.
Sid: What happened to the bleeding you were walking in your own blood?
Sara: It had stopped, the bleeding had stopped, the energy had come back and I knew that I was healed.
Sid: Okay, bottom line, you went to the doctors because the doctors gave you 3 months to live and didn’t want you to go anywhere except to your bed.
Sara: That’s right.
Sid: When you went to see the doctors I mean they must have been shocked that you were walking!
Sara: When I went back to the doctor on Monday the following day that had already been set up for me to go before he saw his other patients, he came flying out of the room, the examining room, and said to my friend Yvonne “You have the kookiest friend that I’ve ever seen, her stitches have healed up entirely over her skin. And and over not stitches, the clamps, the skin had healed up over the clamp. And so…
Sid: Does that mean the clamps were inside of you?
Sara: They were and they had to go inside to take the clamps out, they had not dissolved but the skin healed up over them. And so and then he took an X-ray and of course I was cancer free and when you asked, what did the doctors think? I think that that doctor was so flabbergasted that he did not know what to think.
Sid: I have on the telephone Therese Marszalek whose the co-author of the book “Miracles Still Happen.” And this is 66 miracles from everyday people. Therese tell me what is the real motivation of your heart for this book.
Therese: You know Sid these stories are incredible in this book, they tell such supernatural wonders going on around the globe. But and although it’s been a great honor to share these stories with the world it’s just a piece of the picture because the whole purpose and the grand finale of this book is to lead the reader to the God of miracles through a relationship with Jesus Christ. Because that is really the true miracle of all….
Sid: And of course you do have the prayer in the back to come to have intimacy with God.
Therese: Absolutely.
Sid: When you did this book did you feel a supernatural direction directing when you did this?
Therese: Well what I can tell you at the very beginning of the project and it even started before that I had been spending a great deal of time in prayer, God is calling me to a deep place of intimacy. He impressed Psalm 135 verse 6, I’m sorry 145 verse 6. And it says “They will follow the power of your awesome works and I will proclaim your great deeds.” And I took that scripture as a personal directive from the Lord to go out and proclaim the great deeds that He is doing and I take great pleasure in doing so in every opportunity that I can.
Sid: Very briefly, what’s your favorite testimony in the book “Miracles Still Happen?”
Sara: You know and I would have to say and you’re asking me on the spot and I would have to say the story of Robert Yates who was a serial killer on death row right now. And it’s a very unique story but it really demonstrates the transforming power of the love of God and how He can take somebody as monstrance as he once was and totally transformed his life. The man is now leading many people to Christ within the prison system.
