Sid: I have got an example of the one new man, my brother in northern Galilee his name is Dr. Hani Shahadeh. He has a ministry in northern Galilee and we found out something fascinating. Although he came from a Godly family, although in the Middle East for many generations, although he came from a family that loved the Jew in Israel, and literally his grandfather put his life on the line for some very famous Israelis and was a minority in a country of Jews. And as a minority he felt it, he couldn’t stand, he got to the put that he couldn’t stand reading the Old Testament because it talked about God’s love for the Jew in Israel. And he was pretty backslidden, but he had an accident and this accident he said.”God if I survive (and he should not have) I will serve you completely.” And although he served Him completely he still did not understand the Jew in Israel but he went to a meeting one day and something very supernatural happened. He literally saw a fountain of God’s Spirit coming out of the front of the church and pouring over him and Hani when this poured over you what happened to you?
Hani: I saw the pulpit like a fountain and this fountain was like a fountain of water coming and pouring into my heart and I felt the heat around me and this fountain just kept going and filling and filling and filling. Great joy started to actually expand in my mind and in my whole being and my senses. And I started laughing laughter of joy, not cynical or it’s not that you’re hearing a joke and laughing out of fun it’s just joyful laughter as if you’re laughing over all the weaknesses that used to be in your heart. All the grudges, all the hatred just everything just departed, and the joy of the Lord just toke hold of my heart and that taunting kept coming, kept coming until I couldn’t hold and everybody was looking “Why is this pastor laughing?” So I covered my face with my hands and I just kept my whole body was shaking because I was laughing and this thing has changed totally my life.
Sid: But the biggest thing that had changed was your hatred, and that’s what it was of the Jew. What happened in reference to that?
Hani: What happened I felt major revolution in my heart, I wanted to see the scriptures, I wanted to see the Old Testament, I wanted to study it in depth. I just felt that the love for the Jews, which my parents taught me, it’s not something that I have been taught by parents or by my family, no. It is something that was poured into my heart from heaven, a gift from the Lord that changed me to the extent of loving the Jewish heritage, loving being in Israel and from there I totally believe God has given me this release of the Spirit. This actually Spirit of the Lord actually released me totally from any hatred to become part of a great mission towards the Jews so that we can see the whole people of Israel all the Jewish nation being saved accepting the Lord Jesus.
Sid: Let me ask you something; in the United States we have a ecumenical movement of Jews and Christians coming together in unity, but nothing as far as evangelizing the Jew Just coming together to bless the Jew. And you know what Hani there is a theology that has erupted in which it’s called two covenant theology in which they believe that a Jew based on the promises in the Old Testament is as long as they are obedient is fine with God and they don’t need Jesus to go to Heaven so they’re not sharing Jesus with Jewish people. And of course the Bible’s clear no Jew can be right with God under the Old Covenant because without the shedding of blood there’s no forgiveness of sin. So therefore there’s no temple for the shedding of blood so short of Jesus every Jewish person is stuck in their sins. So a Jew cannot under the Old Covenant get to Heaven. But then a lot of them recognize this and they say the newest thing they’re saying Hani is that when a Jew dies if they are not a believer in Jesus they have an opportunity to be a believer in Jesus. And as far as I’m concerned Hani, that’s the most anti-Semitic belief on the face of this earth.
Hani: Yes Sid it’s very much like the perjury stuff; you know this is not biblical it’s against the scriptures that you chose like the Gentiles need the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord.
Sid: Listen, for sure Paul and all the first apostles didn’t know that because otherwise they wouldn’t have given their life, you know if they thought a Jew could be saved without believing in Jesus or had a chance after they died they call it a first chance. But you live once and them the judgment. Now you really have a love for the Jew, explain that love that love that you have for the Jew in Israel right now.
Hani: The love that I have for the Jewish nation actually emerged through this encounter with the Holy Spirit and it is kind of a calling in that love. I’ve called you for this nation; I’ve called you for this country and all the plans; all the old plans have vanished. And there is a way of prayer, a way of fasting and a path that the Lord is leading to reach the Jewish people in Israel through our love. Through being Israeli Christians, you know you hold the Israelis citizen and refusing replacement theology and refusing the rejection of the Jews. Yes God wants to see all Israel saved and this is the visions and this will be because it is in a agreement with the scriptures.
Sid: And you know one other thing that excites me about you Hani is where you personally live. You live in northern Galilee and a scripture that you mentioned to me but that I’ve thought about often because I come to Israel quite a bit for evangelistic purposes. In Isaiah chapter 9 it says “In Galilee of the Gentiles the people who walked in darkness have seen a great light, those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death upon them a light has shined.” And then there’s other places I personally believe that revival is going to break out in the Galilee, what do you think?”
Hani: I think that this is a fulfillment of the prophecy, that you just mentioned. I know it speaks about Jesus Christ but it also speaks to us in every age and in every time the Word of God is a lively word. The thing that we’re encountering and seeing, the supernatural events, the ministry that the Lord has put in my hand…
Sid: Excuse me, let me just interject this, when you had that encounter where God changed your heart to love the Jew in Israel He gave you something which I believe that you can’t walk in the full supernatural God has for you unless you love the Jew in Israel. But what came with the package where you began to see in the invisible world and people began being healed. Explain what happened to you just at the same time God gave you a Jewish heart.
Hani: Actually let me give you some examples like I would look into the supermarket and there would be a girl that was just with let’s say Kabala people.
Sid: That’s the Jewish New Age, go ahead.
Hani: Yes, or fortune teller in a shake place or something like that. What I feel I would feel things like, in my body that would tell me here there is a satanic presence. And I would turn to the lady and say “Were you in a fortune teller place lately?” “How on earth did you know,” she would reply. I’d say “Because the Lord revealed to me and this is not good for you,” and that will open the door for speaking about the Lord.
Sid: You know Hani we will pick up here on tomorrow broadcast. And I believe many people are going to be physically healed.
