Sid: Guess what this happens this weekend? Pesach, otherwise known as Passover. Many of you that say “Well I don’t know much about Passover; I’m not that interested in Passover.” Well then let me tell you about the King of the Jews. Do you remember the Last Supper? That was a Passover Seder, a Passover meal. If you do not understand Passover you cannot understand the richness of what the Messiah did for us. There are so many parallels between Passover and communion, and the Last Supper, and Jesus dying for all of your pains and all of your diseases. I have on the telephone by invitation Dr. John Miller. He’s a chiropractor from Tampa, Florida. He has been studying medicine; studying how to heal people for over 40 years, and he’s had a passion to understand healing in the atonement. John tell me the circumstances of how you started understanding there was a lot more to communion than meets the eye.
John: Well as a physician I was reading in 1st Corinthians 11 one time and Paul said “He that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.” In the Greek there “many sleep” means dead. So as a physician I began to realize Paul said “The health of the Christian will be determined how he takes communion.” So I began to study healing from a spiritual standpoint rather than a physical standpoint that I had been educated in up to that point.
Sid: Well tell me when you first realized when it passed from theory to reality. Meaning you either you started either yourself or your family, or people you were teaching started getting healed from communion.
John: Well I’d been raised in a church where they believed in healing and they prayed for the sick, but they had no understanding what Jesus actually went through to provide the healing. The more I studied what Jesus sacrificed to give us physical healing, the more real it became to me. I had the opportunity for about 4 years to travel the world doing pastor and missionary conferences and teach this message and see people healed all over the world. Some had taken communion for 40 years; I remember the wife of a president of Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship in Republic of China. She had had stomach pain for like 20 years and she played the piano in the meeting. I taught on communion and when she had communion through the communion service at the end of the message her stomach was totally healed. I’ve seen that repeated all over the world.
Sid: But yet there are many people that take communion and they don’t get instantly healed, and you gave me a revelation the last time that we talked together on how God showed you there was a progressive healing for many people with communion. Explain that.
John: God miraculously healed some people on the spot, but…
Sid: That’s my kind of healing I might add I like it; I love it! (Laughing)
John: Yeah, I would vote for that. (Laughing) Jesus said “As a man believeth in his heart so is he,” or if a person believes something “all things are possible to him that believeth” Jesus said. So a person that does not feel that they have the faith to put on the line when they take communion for an instant healing can believe…
Sid: Excuse me… like someone that has perhaps been praying for a decade for a chronic problem, so therefore, maybe the first time they prayed 10 years ago they had a lot of faith. For over 10 years they’ve been praying for this chronic problem and they haven’t been healed, so their faith has gone south unfortunately. By the way, as I was sharing that the Holy Spirit said that people in pain, especially in the neck and back, especially in the spine and the hip, any area of pain; in your fingers; you are healed in Jesus name. So explain… so someone like that for 10 years they’ve been believing God, and they still believe God but there is a degree of doubt if they want to be honest with themselves. Simply because their experience has been so different than the written word of God; so talk to that person in reference to communion as a point of contact.
John: In science we call that “Conditioned Response” they prayed and got no response; they prayed and got no response; they prayed and got no response, so they expect no response.
Sid: By the way, even though in their mind they say “I know God heals” but there’s something with all of those years of having bad results it’s almost programmed “God heals others, but He’s not going to heal me.”
John: I had been studying the healing through the use of the sacraments of communion for 10 or 12 years. God spoke to me and said “I was to meet Johnny Cash,” the famous singer, “and give him my communion teaching.” Two weeks later I saw in a paper where he had cancer and was dying. Well I knew then why God had spoken to me. Later I saw where he was going to be giving a concert in Clearwater, Florida. So I bought some tickets and went over there and had the opportunity to meet him and give him the communion teaching. This was his first concert after they had taken bone out of his pelvis and put up in his jaw. His wife told me later that she could look in his mouth and the gum was eaten away, then the bone disappeared.
Sid: Hmm.
John: Then this was his first concert after, and was definitely ill trying to perform the concert. I gave him the teaching and the two days later he listened to the tape and took communion, and was healed and sent me this letter:
Dear Dr. Miller,
Thanks for a great blessing today. First, I listened to your tape all the way through taking notes and copying scripture. Then I set up the little communion set you sent. My wife and I held hands, had prayer, broke the bread, and drank the wine.
Healing has set it in I know it I feel it in body and in Spirit. This will be a daily thing for me alone, or with June, or another of the family circle.

Johnny Cash
Well at that point Johnny Cash had only rehearsed 4 songs to do on this tour because that’s as much strength as he had. After he took communion on his bus he went out and did an hour and half concert and wrote this letter.
Sid: Now for those that are not aware of it, 12 years later after he was healed of cancer Johnny Cash died, but it had nothing to do with cancer.
John: This one line “This will be a daily thing for me alone or with June, or another of the family circle” kept going through my mind. I said “God what did Johnny Cash get out of this that I’ve missed?” God began to reveal to me that you have the body of Christ in the New Testament, He handed us the bread and said “This is my body which is broken for you.” So the matzah bread of communion represents the body of Christ. In Acts 2 when the Holy Spirit came down and set on them as cloven tongues of fire they received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Peter stood up and preached and 3,000 people were saved. In Acts 2 it says “They continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine, prayer, breaking of bread, and the giving of thanks.” Then you drop down to verse 46 and it says “They continued daily in the temple breaking of bread house to house.” So I saw that the New Testament church took communion daily at this point. What God also revealed to me is the manna that came down for 40 years in the wilderness and sustained the people physically they received daily. Jesus made this statement “Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness and are dead, but I tell you I am the real bread that came from heaven. Unless you My flesh you have no life in you.” So they ate the manna which was a type of eating the body of Christ daily, and they ate the bread of communion daily. So then I saw what Johnny Cash had received when said “This will be a daily thing for me alone or with June, or another of the family circle.” That probably increased my personal healing by communion more than any other one thing. What God was showing in the manna because you couldn’t collect enough Monday to get you through Tuesday; healing is a daily thing from God you can’t get enough healing in you today to get you through tomorrow. God always reserved healing and prosperity of His people He reserved that for Himself. Anytime that you were sick or needed or prosperity you had to go directly to God. This is born out in Deuteronomy 28 “If you keep my commandments you won’t have any diseases. You’ll be blessed in the storehouse, the field, the reproduction of your cattle; if you don’t keep them then you will be cursed in those areas. God sent His word and healed them.”
Sid: You know John we are out time right here, but I’ll tell you the thing that was so revolutionary to me is when you brought out in the previous interview we did that if someone doesn’t manifest their healing the first time they take communion by believing that it’s almost like medicine, and God’s word is medicine. That as they take communion each time they’re a little bit more, and a little bit more, and little bit more healed as far as the manifestation. Can you think of one person that did it this way and got their healing beyond Johnny Cash?
John: Yes Miriam Carrie had Epstein Barr and she went and took communion 3 times a day. In 2 weeks her blood tests were coming back normal.
